adding gpu to proxmox

oem and non oem

for non oem pc igpu will be off when u add a gpu 

so first disable the device in bios or just remove the gpu 

use the proxmox gpu pass through guide from reddit or smtg

after enabling gpu pcie values will be changed so need to edit ipaddr

so reboot into proxmox (direct booting can work but gpu gets disconnected)

reboot into proxmox safe mode

enter ip addr

next edit nano /etc/network/interfaces and change bridges there 

if youre unsure what is what  ? use lspci -vv (verbose) and verify and then assign to bridges and then you can atleast use web and ssh 

and now pass gpu to anywhere u want 

enable rom bar 

turn off primary gpu 

and set display mode to q35
